Run by the residents, for the residents.
The city of Brighton, CO is going through dramatic change.
From a small, rural farm town of the 1900s to a bustling suburban city of 41,000 in 2020, our city is facing growing pains and cultural clashes, seeing exciting new projects and developments, celebrating the arrival of new businesses, and overhauling a city government stuck in the past.
It’s truly a time of revolution – and evolution – for our amazing city!
“All Around B-Town” is a brand-new website, Facebook community, and podcast for all things Brighton. Launching in February, it’s a great new place to hear from city leaders in their own words, learn about a new business, church, charity or event happening around town, talk about the issues that affect our neighborhoods, and much more.
As a reader / subscriber, here’s what you can expect from “All Around B-Town” in the coming weeks and months:
- We’ll launch our site with articles, a PODCAST and new Facebook page on February 5.
Our podcasts will update weekly! Hosted by local resident, business owner and mayoral recall leader Jeremy Torgerson, and Brighton Mayor Pro-Tem Matt Johnston, we’ll alternate between podcasts about city news and events, and profiles of some of our amazing citizens with stories to tell. You’ll learn about our local businesses (and even get some special offers), opportunities to donate and volunteer, and much more.
More content, including videos, will come online later in 2020!
